Longbow build along part3

The hickory was scraped down on the sides o shape and the stave was sanded smooth. I made up a string and bent the limbs a little to flex them all felt good. until I was almost ready to danish oil the bow after a sanding I flexed the bow and it shattered. it looks to me like the hickory blew!! cracking the rest of the bow to fire wood the end ;)
