Install old version of firefox

Focal-point needs a particular version of firefox to work: Officially, as far as access are concearned anything above version 5 will cause issues with focalpoint and is not supported by them in practise version 29.0.1 is tested and known to work ok on windows goto this website to get the version you need https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/29.0.1/win32/en-GB/ uninstall thenew version complelty form your machine next install version 29 Make sure you turn auto update off otherwise it will auto update next time you restart Tips for ubuntu:
It is possible to have 2 firefox versions installed on ubuntu
- download the version (https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/28.0/linux-x86_64/en-US/firefox-28.0.tar.bz2) - create a symlink from the firefox executable to (e.g.) /usr/bin/focalpoint - create a shortcut at desktop to focalpoint
It is however not possible having 2 instances with different versions to run at the same time. So when I want to run ff28 I have to shutdown all other ff instances with version 30
