Ok so yesterday I figured out how to convert and burn movies from divx!! using ubuntu. ffmpeg -i movie.avi -target pal-vcd movie.mpg mpgtx -4 movie.mpg -n m This will convert the movie from most supported formats to pal vcd then split the file up to fit on cdrom's
